Do you know any songs or people who write songs like this?

Okay so lately I have been listening to Tom's Diner by Suzanne Vega because it is so catchy. It is one of my favorites now, and one thing I like about it is the "da da da da, da da da da, dadadada" in the pauses. Also the original song from the theme of Pretty Little Liars, Two can Keep a Secret. So any catchy songs, with that kind of "tune" I guess? Or the "bump, bump" of Tom's diner? If you know what I mean, its like a vintage "party" song beat.
