Thinking about starting guitar, electric or acoustic first?

Depends what you like listening to & want to play. Acoustic guitars are easier - just pick up and play - and can be cheaper to start off, but the fingerboard of an electric guitar is narrower, and the strings tension lower so they're physically easier to play. Whatever you choose, go to a specialist guitar supplier to make sure its properly set up as that will make a huge difference to the sound and ease of playing.
